Romeo & Julienne

Two quiches, both alike in destiny,
In fair Greenpoint, where we set our table.
From ancient eggs break to new butter crusts,
Where delicious cheddar makes boring quiche unplain.
From forth the fatal loins of these two molds,
A pair of star crossed pastries take their life;
Whose well proportioned egg, yogurt & vegetables,
Do with their mix, bury their parents hunger.
The heatful baking of their cheese-filled innards,
And the continuance of their parents need,
But with their setting, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours passing of our feeding.
The which of you with patient stomachs should attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to end.
